Innovation often results by bringing two or more existing ideas together in unique ways. The healthcare partners of the Innovation District are in the midst of exploring what is possible when they work together on transformational solutions for challenges they all face. Topics include expanding the educational pipeline for new healthcare graduates, providing shared amenities that improve employee recruitment and retention, replicating successful heath entrepreneur generating / supporting activities, and deepening our ability to leverage unique equipment and capabilities in ocean and human health research.
As mentioned earlier in this newsletter, these types of conversations take months and sometimes years to result in visible change.
