This is what a scientist looks like was a special project of the 2019 St. Pete Science Festival. The intent was to highlight young professionals in STEM careers in the Tampa Bay area and to allow youth to see that these individuals might look like them, come from similar backgrounds, and/or have similar interests.
When the Science Festival was cancelled due to a Tropical Storm, the project was turned into a video.
