About This Event

About:

This is a 24-hour sprint to turn America’s toughest problems into investable prototypes to out-build, out-learn, and out-collaborate the world. America once mass-produced the motors of global prosperity--machines, medicines, ships, and chips--right here on American soil. But today, the R&D pipelines that once turned new ideas into shared wealth for American communities have slowed.

The American Frontier Build event exists to restart them.

Over one intense day and night, entrepreneurs, scientists, and engineers will team up with local industry leaders to build working prototypes that strengthen the foundations of our economy—from energy to agriculture to medicine, maritime, and main street.

The most promising teams will earn cash prizes and their projects will earn the right to compete for a workbench inside General American Intelligence’s R&D Foundry at the Ark Innovation Center in the St. Pete Innovation District, where they can continue iterating on their inventions until they're ready to GTM and disrupt industries.

Who Should Attend

Inventors & Engineers who want to see their ideas become real, fast

Scientists & Technicians who want to build test and learn into wise products

Entrepreneurs & Operators from SMBs and industrial firms with costly bottlenecks or underused data

Capital & Civic Leaders curious to see tangible progress bc they're tired of slide decks and "AI" noise

Students & Researchers looking to work alongside industry on problems that actually matter for real communities, right here in St. Pete

What You’ll Experience

Friday Evening: Problem/value statements, team formations, orientation

Saturday: 24 hours of rapid prototyping, mentorship, and build sprints

Sunday: Live demos, judging & awards, and venture invitations to join GAI’s next 100-day Build Track

What you'll have access to

  • On Prem Hardware:
    • On prem NVIDIA GPUs & Apple silicon
    • Canon commercial printers et al
    • Solar arrays, pro-sumer weather station, battery storage, et al
  • Data:
    • Big datasets from land (agriculture, real estate), air (weather, climate), and sea (ocean and maritime data)
  • Software

What We’re Building Toward

General American Intelligence is re-industrializing the U.S. economy by turning open research and private data into intelligent ventures that create huge value for fragile American communities across land, air, and sea applications.

Our St. Pete Foundry is the first node in a growing national network designed to accelerate time to value for AgTech, ClimateTech, and OceanTech American made ventures.
