Faculty, researchers, and students from the USF College of Marine Science have been settling into spaces across the Innovation District following the recent fire, continuing their important work.
CMS was recently visited by Xylem at the Maritime and Defense Technology Hub. A special thank you to Xylem for donating vital ocean monitoring equipment to the Tampa Bay Observing System. The new water quality sonde, installed on The Hub seawall, will help monitor key indicators such as temperature, dissolved oxygen, salinity, and nutrient levels within the Port of St. Petersburg—data that is essential to protecting the health of Tampa Bay's residents, environment, and economy.
