Lauren is the Chief Operating Officer of the St. Pete Innovation District. She oversees the Maritime and Defense Technology Hub, a thriving shared workspace that brings together the region’s growing community of industry, government, and academic partners. She also plans and manages much of the District’s programming, including the St. Pete Science Festival, an annual event that attracts more than 10,000 attendees to over 150 immersive exhibits and live demonstrations. In addition, Lauren leads the District’s internship and youth outreach activities.

A Tampa Bay region native, Lauren has over 20 years of experience in customer service and facility management. She blends creativity and tenacity in her approach to managing the Hub and other Innovation District projects.
