A big congratulations to Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital on two exciting milestones: a transformational $40 million gift and national recognition among the country's top children's hospitals.
St. Petersburg-based Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital received a $40 million gift from Tom Golisano to support its new Wesley Chapel hospital, currently under construction. The five-story, 56-bed facility will be named the Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital, Golisano Children's Medical Center at Wesley Chapel and is expected to open in fall 2027.
The recognition comes as U.S. News & World Report named 90 children's hospitals across the country in its 2026–2027 Best Children's Hospitals rankings, highlighting leading institutions providing specialized pediatric care.
Congratulations to Johns Hopkins All Children's on this investment in the future of pediatric care—and on continuing to put Tampa Bay on the map for excellence in health and innovation!
