Kudos to the Climate Accelerator!

The Tampa Bay Innovation Center recently hosted the region's first climate tech-focused program designed for early-stage tech ventures.  Of the 250 startups that applied, eight were selected for the 12-week accelerator. Those companies had an opportunity last week to pitch their ideas to potential investors.  

Topics spanned from underwater farming pods to a device that harnesses energy from waves.  Kudos to Tampa Bay Innovation Center and the eight companies for tackling this important topic!  To read more click here.

Our summer youth tours are in full swing, and the learning hasn’t stopped. So far, we’ve hosted students ranging from elementary school to college age, with over 60 individuals touring the Innovation District.
