The Naviator Takes Off

SubUAS recently hosted a live demonstration of its innovative Naviator drone, giving visitors a firsthand look at a platform that’s redefining what’s possible in maritime technology. Visitors gathered at the Maritime and Defense Technology Hub to learn more about the technology before heading to Lassing Park to watch the drone take off. Water operations were conducted back at the Hub.

The Naviator deploys in seconds and seamlessly transitions between air and underwater. It can capture real-time video above the surface while recording data below, then resurfaces to transmit its findings. Designed for efficiency, the system operates as a single platform managed by a single crew. Beneath the surface, the Naviator is built to handle a wide range of subsea missions, including inspection of pipelines, cables, moorings, vessel hulls, and seabed surveys.
