The Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship at Florida State University helps small business owners, nonprofit leaders, and entrepreneurs through executive education, mentoring, peer groups, and business growth programs offered across Florida. Established through support from automotive entrepreneur Jim Moran and later expanded through a historic $100 million gift from Jan Moran and The Jim Moran Foundation, the institute has become one of the largest small business outreach efforts in the country. Its programs are designed for established businesses and are often delivered at little to no cost, giving founders access to practical guidance, leadership development, and statewide networks. The institute also works closely with FSU’s Jim Moran College of Entrepreneurship, creating a bridge between academic entrepreneurship education and real-world business growth.
