Electric air vehicles may sound futuristic, but for St. Pete, they’re already on the radar. The Advanced Air Mobility Taskforce, chaired by Ed Montanari, is bringing together engineers, business leaders, pilots, and innovators to explore how these vehicles could take flight in and around the city. The goal is to make sure the city is ready for takeoff when the time comes.

The taskforce will present its second progress report in November, with a final vision for urban air mobility scheduled for January 2026. Learn more here.
