The Foundation for a Healthy St. Petersburg, in partnership with Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital, is introducing a capacity-building grant initiative that exemplifies strategic, next-level support. In 2025, they will award up to $10,000 each to 20 nonprofits serving South St. Petersburg.
The ingenuity lies in how these funds are applied. Each organization will complete a Core Capacity Assessment Tool (CCAT®) to inform groups on how they should apply their funding. Personalized strategies address areas in need of attention, whether it’s upgrading websites, improving financial systems, developing strategic communications, or investing in professional development. This is an innovative model that helps these organizations not just function but flourish.
