Big credit to the researchers and partners involved, including USF St. Petersburg and collaborating institutions, for sustaining and growing this work. Securing an additional $2.8 million from the National Institutes of Health (bringing total funding to over $50 million) is a strong signal that this work is nationally recognized and worth investing in.
